CONCIERTO BARCELONA SALA MUSIC HALL

Mas de 20 años había estado esperando de poder disfrutar de un
concierto de Lloyd Cole, que por una serie de motivos o circunstancias
no han podido ser hasta este pasado día 11 de octubre. Lloyd, estuvo dos
horas el solo con su guitarra y su increíble voz hipnótica, en una sala
que estaba llena, atenta y con un silencio casi sepulcral digno de
admirar en un concierto, cosa que desde hace muchos años es una tarea
muy difícil de conseguir en la ciudad condal, mantener ese respeto,
atención y admiración por partes iguales hacia el artista es algo que
muy pocas veces pasa hoy en dia en la vida.
No fue mi concierto imaginado en estos mas de veinte
años de espera, ya que en mi mente estaba dibujado el poder ver a Lloyd
con banda y no a el solo en formato acústico, pero me emociono muchísimo
ver en el estado de gracia que esta el ingles tras la publicación de su
ultimo cd y de los mejores álbumes de su carrera como es "Standars" de
el cual calleron un buen puñado como "No truck" , "Kids Today" o
"Diminished Ex".
Lloyd dio una lección de talento y de buenas canciones
como las maravillosas y clásicas "Rattlesnakes" , "No Blue Skies" ,
"Perfect Skin" o "Forest Fire" muchas de ellas de su etapa con los
Commotions y asi clásico tras clásico llegando a tocar mas de 30
canciones en dos horas, divididas en un parón de una hora, para
aprovechar para ir a tomar una copa, fumar un cigarro o conversar con el
del al lado sobre el concierto. Y para acabar solo me queda a mi y a
los presentes quitarnos el sombrero y felicitar a Lloyd por su concierto
y sobretodo por su humanidad de después, una vez acabado el show de
hacerse fotos con la parroquia de fans y de firmar uno tras uno su
ultimo cd que el mismo vendía a 10 euros.

than 20 years had been hoping to enjoy a concert by Lloyd Cole , who
for a variety of reasons and circumstances could not be until this past
October 11 . Lloyd
spent two hours alone with his guitar and his incredible hypnotic voice
, in a room that was full , attentive and almost sepulchral silence to
admire in a concert , which for many years is a difficult task to get in
Barcelona , maintain that respect, attention and admiration in equal
parts to the artist is something that rarely happens today in life.It
was my concert imagined in those over twenty years of waiting, because
in my mind was drawn to see Lloyd the band , not only in the acoustic
format , but I get excited much to see in the state of grace that is the
English
after the publication of his latest cd and the best albums of his
career as " Control Standards " of which a handful calleron as " No
truck", "Kids Today" or " Diminished Ex" .Lloyd
gave a lesson in talent and good songs like the beautiful and classic "
Rattlesnakes " , " No Blue Skies" , " Perfect Skin " or "Forest Fire"
many of them from his time with the Commotions and thus reaching classic
after classic play
more than 30 songs in two hours , divided into a break of an hour to
get to go and have a drink , smoke a cigar or converse with the next
about the concert . And
finally I can only me and these hats off and congratulations to Lloyd
for his concert and especially for its humanity then after finishing the
show to take pictures with the parish of fans and signing one after
one's last cd that it sold for 10 euros.
